**Feature a different local business every day, week or month, and reward the passholders who show up.** Giveaway Passes are a new pass type you can build and run entirely on your own in Experience Builder.

Here's how it works. Each period, one business on your pass is featured. Passholders who check in there are entered to win, and if they're picked, they reveal their prize right in the pass. Prizes are limited, they're spread across the business's open hours, and winners get a set amount of time to collect.

## What you can do

- **Choose the rhythm.** Give away a prize every hour, day, week or month, between the start and end dates you pick. We'll tell you how long the program runs, so there's no counting weeks.
- **Decide who's featured and what's up for grabs.** Set the featured business and the prize for each period, or click **Fill remaining periods** to rotate through your businesses automatically.
- **Keep prizes available all day.** Wins are spread across each business's opening hours, so the late-afternoon visitor has the same shot as the first one through the door.
- **Set how long winners have to collect.** Give winners a countdown or a fixed date to redeem their prize.
- **Watch it work.** Once your pass is live, its Overview becomes a performance view: today's featured business, check-ins by hour, and results for every business across the whole program.

> **Why it matters:** Every entry is a real visit to a real business. That makes Giveaway Passes one of the strongest tools you have for sending foot traffic to specific places on specific days, and you can show each partner exactly how many people their feature brought through the door.

## How to get started

1. Create a new pass and choose **Giveaway** as the pass type.
2. On **Featured Places**, add the businesses taking part. Each one gets a check-in automatically.
3. On **Giveaway Setup**, choose how often you give a prize away, your start and end dates, and how long winners have to collect.
4. On **Giveaway Schedule**, set the featured business and prize for each period.
5. Publish, then follow the results on **Overview**.

**Tip:** Prizes are released during each business's opening hours, so make sure hours are filled in for every featured place before you launch. The Featured Places page flags any that are missing.
