# Polls, Upgraded: Manage Polls in the Pass Builder and Keep Awards Fair

Manage a pass's polls right in the Pass Builder, stop one favorite from sweeping every award category, and customize the voting language for your program.

**If your passes use Polls, running them just got a lot simpler.** Polls now live inside the Pass Builder, and a new voting rule keeps multi-category award programs fair.

## What you can do

- **Manage polls where you build the pass.** Add, remove and reorder a pass's polls, set when each one accepts votes, and view results for that specific pass without leaving the Pass Builder.
- **Keep award categories fair.** Turn on the new voting rule to limit how many of a pass's polls a passholder can pick the same place in. Once someone votes for a restaurant for "Best Brunch," they can't pick it again for "Best Burger," so one favorite can't sweep every category.
- **No disappearing options.** A place that's already been used shows as unavailable with a note explaining why, so passholders always understand their ballot.
- **Your voting language.** Customize the wording passholders see when they vote, to fit your program.

The voting rule is off by default, so existing passes work exactly as before.

> **Why it matters:** Awards programs are a great way to drive visits and give local businesses something to celebrate, but only if the results feel fair. These upgrades make multi-category voting easy to run and easy to trust.

## How to get started

1. Open a pass in the Pass Builder and go to **Polls**.
2. Add or reorder polls and set their active dates.
3. Turn on **Voting Rules** and set how many polls a place can be chosen in.
4. Use **View Results** to see votes for that pass.
